Biography:

Neal Baker, the man behind Arborists NW, led an interesting path to where he is today. Neal began back in 1968, mowing lawns and doing landscape cleanups in the Seattle area. After serving in the Air Force, Neal began working in the green industry with hi-lead, cat and skidder selective logging and cedar salvage with Helicopters. During his time doing logging work, Neal spent time restoring salmon streams damaged by other logger’s mistakes.

After spending time in New York performing tree services, Neal began his first business in residential tree care. He would eventually move on to include government and corporate work as well. In 1991, Neal continued learning about trees and received his certification from the International Society of Arboriculture. Neal prides himself on his excellent communication skills in consulting with the residential community and public officials to get work done.

“In 40 years, I have dealt with difficult residential and public situations and worked to get the project completed on time and within budget.” Neal.
